Ramatech mobile drum winder MW 800
Rewinding cable exactly where you want it – that’s possible with our MW 800 mobile drum coiling machine, which simply winds cables up to 45 mm in diameter from a drum rack or reel stand to the desired length on an empty cable drum up to 800 mm in diameter. In addition, an optional plug-in ring winding attachment can be used to quickly wind the cable into a ring shape. The MW 800 clamps the cable drum flat with quills and lifts it for the winding process.
Once the empty drum has been picked up, the cable end is guided through the measuring and laying unit by a drum bearing or reel stand and secured. After entering the desired target length, the winding process starts. The speed can be adjusted at any time. Once the target length has been reached, the device stops, cuts the cable at the marking and places the wound drum or ring on the floor at the touch of a button.
