Our electric portal series is characterized by a high degree of automation when unwinding cable drums and is one of the automatic cable winding machines. The cable drum size is detected by laser and thanks to the automated centering of the quills, the drums are automatically tensioned and lifted. The force applied during this fast and independent tensioning and lifting process can be adjusted at any time. This means that different drum types and materials can be accommodated without damaging the material. Our automatic cable winding machines are available in five different sizes. The possible drum diameters range from 400 mm to 2800 mm and weights of up to 8 tons can be handled.

Various operating options such as control columns, touchscreens and remote controls contribute to simple and convenient operation. This means that all gantry functions can be carried out mobile and with one hand. The second hand is always free for handling the cable. This means that even large drum systems can be easily operated by a single person. The focus is always on the safety of the operator.
